IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD?

"Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son" (Genesis 18:14). Someone once gave me this verse from the Bible to encourage me. I read this verse and found it so inspiring. It was just what I needed at that moment. Sarah had waited so long for the promised son. Deep within her she was in doubt if this promise would be fulfilled. She thought it would be impossible for her to conceive because of her age.

Before this personal promise from the Lord, She even went ahead of God's plan by giving her maid to her husband. Sometimes, like Sarah, we also place things in our own hands and go ahead of God's plan for our lives. We find it difficult to wait for the Lord to fulfill His purpose in our lives. We must never forget that God's plan and God's time are always the best for us.

We have to always remember that there is nothing that is too hard for our Lord. He may just be waiting for you to develop full trust in Him; He may just want to test your faith; or He may just want you to know that the time has not yet come. We must endeavour to reveal the glory of God in every situation of our life. As we do this, others will come to see the power and grace of the Lord we serve. In His own appointed time, the Lord will fulfill His promises in our lives. We do not need to run before Him. For at the time appointed, He will make all things beautiful.
