DON'T CONSIDER IT AS A WASTE

"26:7 There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat.

26:8 But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste?

26:9 For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor.

26:10 When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me.

26:11 For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.

26:12 For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.

26:13 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her."

(Matthew 26:7 - 13)
My dear Brother or Sister in Christ, if you devote your time, your money, and your affections to the pursuit of worldly things at this end of the world, people do not find any fault. If you give yourself up to the service of MONEY, PLEASURE, or POLITICS at this end of the world, people do not find any fault at all. But if you devote yourself, and all you have to serve Christ, people scarcely find words to express their sense of your folly. They say that you are out of your mind. They say that you are a fanatic. They say that you are an enthusiast. They say that you are an extreme man. In short, people regard it as a "WASTE." But don’t consider your sacrifices for God’s work as a waste. Very soon you will hear the glad words "Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast being faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord" (Matthew 25:21).
