When Christ ascended up on high, He gave spiritual gifts to His church through the agency of the Holy Spirit.
The Gift of Faith
The gift of faith is a spiritual gift which the Holy Spirit imparts unto some in the church to believe God to work out the impossible.
The Gifts of Wisdom and Knowledge
The gift of wisdom is a spiritual gift which the Holy Spirit imparts unto some in the church to ascertain in a special way the mysteries of salvation, and with the uncommon ability of clearly explaining it to the comprehension of the church body.
The Gifts of Healings and Miracles
The gifts of healing upon a child of God empowers such a person with a special grace such that prayers offered by such an one for the sick usually receives an answer of wellbeing for the sick person.
The Gift of Discerning of Spirits
Persons with the gift of discerning of spirits are able to identify whether a spirit that is being manifested at a particular time in the church is from God or Satan.
The Gift of Prophecy: Part 1
The gift of prophecy enables recipients to speak forth or preach under divine inspiration. The gift may also include the ability to predict or foretell future events.
