LESSON 16

CORONAVIRUS, CLIMATE CHANGE AND SUNDAY LAWS

You are welcome to another edition of Insights from God's Word, a Bible Study Programme that is committed to sharing God's Word by allowing the Bible to speak for itself.

In this edition, we continue with our series on The Final Events of Bible Prophecy. The topic for this study is: Coronavirus, Climate Change and Sunday Laws. In our previous study, we ended with the important point that all that the leaders of our world have been looking out for to enact a Global Sunday Law was the right worldwide major crisis. And such a global crisis, world leaders got in December of 2019; the coronavirus disease.

1) THE CORONAVIRUS DISEASE

The coronavirus disease, which is also popularly called COVID-19 was discovered around mid-December of 2019 in Wuhan, the capital of the Hubei Province of China. We are told that the coronavirus disease is an infectious disease caused by a new virus. Within a short space of time, news reports from across the world indicated a wide spread of the virus to such an extent that on March 11, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 as a pandemic. From an article published by John Elflein on statista.com, we learn that "As of November 27, 2020, the outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) had spread to six continents, and over 1.4 million people had died after contracting the respiratory virus."

The coronavirus pandemic has changed the normal order of the world in so many ways. Due to the acclaimed infectious nature of the virus, governments across the world were advised by the World Health Organization and other agencies to shut down various activities that brought people together in mass numbers. Schools and various institutions of learning were closed down in various countries; various academic examinations were cancelled; the Olympic games that was supposed to take place in Tokyo, Japan, as well as various entertainment events were brought to a halt; the holding of church services in various countries were banned. All these new regulations which happened very quickly created the panic buying of food and other basic necessities in several countries. As if all these restrictive measures were not enough, several counties were once again advised by the World Health Organization and other agencies to lock down their citizens so as to reduce the rapid spread of the virus. The once busy streets of various popular cities of the world became empty. People who dared to go out for certain basic necessities were to wear mandatory face masks to protect themselves and others from the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Sheltering in place, frequent hand washing, the applying of sanitizers and the wearing of face masks became the new normal of the day.

As one restrictive measure upon another was placed on citizens in various countries, the key questions that many began to ponder over were these: "Does it take just one virus to bring the world to a standstill? Are there not issues behind the scenes that the media was not telling the masses? Friends, this is exactly what many discovered as they began to do their own private study in relation to the coronavirus pandemic. It will interest you to know that several people who did their own private studies on the pandemic came to the conclusion that the leaders of the world were only using the coronavirus pandemic as a swift vehicle to push for a worldwide climate emergency action. Here are some articles that lend credence to this point:

i) "Something strange is happening. Not just the illness and death sweeping the planet. Not just the closing of borders and bars and schools, the hoarding of wipes and sanitizer, the orders — unimaginable to most Americans weeks ago — to "shelter in place." Something else is afoot. In China and Italy, the air is now strikingly clean. Venice’s Grand Canal, normally fouled by boat traffic, is running clear. In Seattle, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Atlanta, the fog of pollution has lifted. Even global carbon emissions have fallen.

Coronavirus has led to an astonishing shutdown of economic activity and a drastic reduction in the use of fossil fuels. In China, measures to contain the virus in February alone caused a drop in carbon emissions of an estimated 25 percent. The Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air estimates that this is equivalent to 200 million tons of carbon dioxide — more than half the annual emissions of Britain. In the short term, response to the pandemic seems to be having a positive effect on emissions. But in the longer term, will the virus help or harm the climate?

To be clear, the coronavirus pandemic is a tragedy — a human nightmare unspooling in overloaded hospitals and unemployment offices with unnerving speed, barreling toward a horizon darkened by economic disaster and crowded with portents of suffering to come. But this global crisis is also an inflection point for that other global crisis, the slower one with even higher stakes, which remains the backdrop against which modernity now plays out. As the United Nations’ secretary general recently noted, the threat from coronavirus is temporary whereas the threat from heat waves, floods and extreme storms resulting in the loss of human life will remain with us for years.

Our response to this health crisis will shape the climate crisis for decades to come. The efforts to revive economic activity — the stimulus plans, bailouts and back-to-work programs being developed now — will help determine the shape of our economies and our lives for the foreseeable future, and they will have effects on carbon emissions that reverberate across the planet for thousands of years."

From the article "What the Coronavirus Means for Climate Change" by Meehan Crist. Published in The New York Times, March 27, 2020.

ii) "While the international response to COVID-19 has been criticized, it still gives us hope that strong climate change policy can be achieved if we manage to overcome the psychological handicaps that keep governments complacent.

At this point, the policy changes required to mitigate climate change appear far less disruptive — economically, socially and culturally — than the measures being taken right now to tackle COVID-19.

In fact, carbon dioxide emissions could probably be brought down dramatically through gradual increases in a global carbon price in ways that would be imperceptible in the daily lives of most people.

When the dust of COVID-19 settles, we should look back at this moment as proof that our societies are not enslaved to fate, and find strength in the demonstrated ability of modern societies to react to global emergencies."

From the article "Coronavirus response proves the world can act on climate change" by Eric Galbraith and Ross Otto. Published in The Conversation, March 19, 2020.

iii) "Rome (CNN) Pope Francis has said the coronavirus pandemic is one of "nature's responses" to humans ignoring the current ecological crisis.

In an email interview published Wednesday in The Tablet and Commonwealth magazines, the pontiff said the outbreak offered an opportunity to slow down the rate of production and consumption and to learn to understand and contemplate the natural world.

"We did not respond to the partial catastrophes. Who now speaks of the fires in Australia, or remembers that 18 months ago a boat could cross the North Pole because the glaciers had all melted? Who speaks now of the floods?" the Pope said.

"I don't know if these are the revenge of nature, but they are certainly nature's responses," he added."

From the article "Pope says coronavirus pandemic could be nature's response to climate crisis" by Delia Gallagher. Published in cnn.com, April 09, 2020.

Friends, from the three articles above, I believe we are beginning to see clearly how the coronavirus pandemic is being related to the climate change agenda. At this point in our study, an important question that begs for an answer is this: How are the coronavirus pandemic and the climate change agenda going to bring about a Global Sunday Rest Law? The subsequent sections will deal with this important question.

2) THE CLIMATE CHANGE AGENDA

Within the last decade, several voices have been echoing the call for the world to take action to reverse the growing deteriorating condition of the world's climate and general environment. Here are some of the key personalities and groups that have called for poignant measures to tackle climate change:

A) POPE FRANCIS’ ENCYCLICAL ON THE ENVIRONMENT

Pope Francis released his second encyclical titled "Laudato Si" in 2015. "Laudato Si" with subtitle "On Care for our Common Home" has been described as an encyclical of the environment. Pope Francis made history by presenting the details of this encyclical in a speech presented at the White House on September 23, 2015. From the website of the Guardian Newspaper, we read the following in relation to what happened:

"Pope Francis addressed one of the thorniest issues in American politics on Wednesday with a White House speech explicitly supporting Barack Obama’s plan to cut carbon emissions and chastising climate change deniers for failing in their duty to protect our "common home".

In a tougher-than-expected call for action on global warming, the spiritual leader of more than 70 million American Catholics defied calls among some Republicans to steer clear of politics by making clear he believed this was a moral issue.

"Climate change is a problem which can no longer be left to a future generation," said the pope, who invited contrast with the civil rights struggle by invoking the spirit of Martin Luther King Jr in support of his argument."

From the article "Pope Francis calls for urgent action on climate change in White House speech" by Dan Roberts and Stephanie Kirchgaessner. Published in The Guardian, September 23, 2015.

B) THE PARIS CLIMATE AGREEMENT

After Pope Francis' encyclical on the environment, many in the world have also shown their solidarity in relation to the devastating climate situation of the world. In December of 2015, world leaders met in Paris, France to take an action on Climate Change that will be remembered for a very long time. From the editors of the Encyclopedia Britannica, we read the following in relation to the Paris Climate Change Agreement: "Paris Agreement, in full Paris Agreement Under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, also called Paris Climate Agreement or COP21, international treaty, named for the city of Paris, France, in which it was adopted in December 2015, which aimed to reduce the emission of gases that contribute to global warming. The Paris Agreement set out to improve upon and replace the Kyoto Protocol, an earlier international treaty designed to curb the release of greenhouse gases. It entered into force on November 4, 2016, and has been signed by 197 countries and ratified by 187 as of November 2019."

After the agreement was made in December 2015, the Guardian Newspaper published the following on its website: "Paris climate change agreement: the world's greatest diplomatic success. With all 196 nations having a say, the UN climate deal, with all its frustrations and drama, has proven that compromise works for the planet." - See full article by Fiona Harvey. Published in The Guardian, December 14, 2015.

However, the success story of the Paris Agreement was soon to experience a devastating blow. In June 2017, climate activists experienced a shock when the then US President Donald Trump announced his intentions to pull out the United States from the Paris Climate Agreement. Trump’s announcement was followed by several protests by climate activists across the globe. The aim of these protests was to put pressure on the United States to remain loyal to the Paris Agreement. Even though President Trump went forward with his intentions, UN regulations concerning formal withdrawal from the Paris Agreement slowed the process to the extent that the US could formally withdraw from the Agreement on November 4, the day after the US election. Thus after a three year delay, the US became the first nation to formally withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement. Many Americans went to the pools with the poor climate action plan of President Donald Trump on their minds. As you and I are aware, Donald Trump lost the elections to Joe Biden, a pro climate change agent. Thus on November 4, the day that the US formally left the Paris Agreement, Joe Bidden sent this message via Twitter: "Today, the Trump Administration left the Paris Climate Agreement. And in exactly 77 days, a Biden Administration will rejoin it."

From the Washington Post, we read the following on Climate and Environment: "A Biden victory positions America for a 180-degree turn on climate change. New administration will seek to shift U.S. off fossil fuels and expand public lands protections but face serious opposition from senate GOP. "Joe Biden’s win ratifies what’s been clear all along: despite Trump’s best efforts, the American people have remained committed to the Paris Agreement. Business, investors, cities and states redoubled their efforts to solve the climate crisis, proving that the path to a sustainable economy is inevitable," said former Vice President Al Gore in a statement Saturday."

It is interesting to learn that Joe Biden is the second Catholic President of the United States after John F. Kennedy. In 1960, when America was largely anti-Catholic, the Roman Catholic John F. Kennedy went from Washington down to Texas to assure Protestant preachers that he would not obey the pope. In 2020, the Roman Catholic Joe Biden, now serving in a pro-Catholic America, has made it very clear to the world that he is going to partner with the pope in combatting climate change. I need not mention that this alliance between America and the Holy See is going to accelerate the already laid out plans in relation to the global climate change agenda - that is, the establishing of Sunday as a universal weekly day of rest and worship. Keep reading to find out how this plan is being unveiled right before our very eyes.

C) THE CLIMATE EMERGENCY MOVEMENT

The Climate Emergency Movement is a grassroots movement organised by The Climate Mobilization Agency. Here are some definitive statements on Climate Change that you will find on their website theclimatemobilization.org:

"Climate Emergency

Our leaders are asleep at the wheel

We urgently need a massive effort to reverse global warming and protect humanity and the natural world from collapse. Declaring a Climate Emergency is a critical first step.

Join the international grassroots movement of thousands of communities demanding their governments acknowledge the Climate Emergency and begin to mobilize immediately.

D) UN SECRETARY GENERAL URGES ALL COUNTRIES TO DECLARE CLIMATE EMERGENCIES

By Fiona Harvey (Environment Correspondent)

Sat 12 Dec 2020 16.04 GMT

Governments around the world should all declare a state of climate emergency until the world has reached net zero CO2 emissions, the UN secretary general, António Guterres, has told a summit of world leaders.

At least 38 countries have already declared such a state of emergency, often owing to their vulnerability to the impacts of climate breakdown, which are already being felt.

"Can anybody still deny that we are facing a dramatic emergency?" Guterres said on Saturday. "I urge all others to follow."

Declaring an emergency would require countries to step up their actions on greenhouse gas emissions urgently. An increasing number of governments have a target to reach net zero emissions by around the mid-century, but few have detailed plans on how to get there.

Many countries are also pouring money into high-CO2 activities as they strive to recover from the coronavirus crisis and recession. Guterres noted that G20 countries were spending 50% more in their stimulus packages on fossil fuels and CO2-intensive sectors than they were on low-CO2 energy.

"This is unacceptable," he told the online Climate Ambition Summit, co-hosted by the UN, the UK and France. "The trillions of dollars needed for Covid recovery is money that we are borrowing from future generations. This is a moral test. We cannot use these resources to lock in policies that burden future generations with a mountain of debt on a broken planet."

More than 70 world leaders, civil society activists, business chiefs and city mayors are attending the Climate Ambition Summit, which marks five years since the landmark Paris climate agreement.

Friends, even though several are the voices that have called for climate emergency action across the world in recent times, it is clear that the promotion from the end of the papacy has carried more weight than all the other activists on climate change. I have outlined below some of the headlines from various newspapers that have documented the papacy's audacious promotion for climate change across the world in recent times:

i) Pope Francis declares 'climate emergency' and urges action. Addressing energy leaders, pope warns of 'catastrophic' effects of global heating. Article by Fiona Harvey and Julian Ambrose in The Guardian on 14th June 2019. (www.the guardian.com)

ii) Pope urges politicians to take 'drastic measures' on climate change Article by Philip Pullella in Reuters News on 31st August 2019 (www.reuters.com)

iii) Pope Francis issues new call for world leaders to act on the climate emergency. Article by Gerard O' Connel in Catholic Dispatch on 1st September, 2019. (www.americamagazine.org)

At this point in our study, someone is likely to ponder over this important question: "But what is wrong with the pope trying to work towards the good course of promoting a better environment for the peoples of the world? The answer to this question is a very technical one. You see friends, on the surface the climate change agenda seems so beautiful and harmless. In fact, it is the duty of all good citizens and Christians to take a very good care of the environment. But the issue is that deep within the climate change propaganda is the papacy's Sunday rest and worship agenda which is clearly against the precepts of the Holy Scriptures (see Exodus 20:8-11). You may ask how? Well, let's first get into Pope Francis' encyclical on climate change that is titled "Laudato Si" to see what is in there in relation to the Sunday Law issue. From the "Laudato Si", page 237, we read the following in relation to Sunday rest:

"Sunday, like the Jewish Sabbath, is meant to be a day which heals our relationships with God, with ourselves, with others and with the world.... It protects human action from becoming empty activism; it also prevents that unfettered greed and sense of isolation which make us seek personal gain to the detriment of all else. The law of weekly rest forbade work on the Seventh-day ... (Ex 23:12). Rest opens our eyes to the larger picture and gives us renewed sensitivity to the rights of others. And so the day of rest, centred on the Eucharist, sheds it light on the whole week, and motivates us to greater concern for nature and the poor."

Beloved, through the words above, chronicled carefully in an encyclical on the environment, the papacy has been calling for a Sunday rest by law from the leaders of the world. In the minds of people like Pope Francis, who are pushing for climate emergency actions across the globe, a simple solution to the climate change crises is Sunday rest by law. Yes, Sunday rest by law! According to several climate change activists today, a less costly approach of human behaviour that can be utilised to ensure that the climate or environment is saved from utter deterioration is LOCKDOWN, the tested social antidote that has been utilised to stem the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic across the nations of the world. However this time around, the lockdown will not be for several days unending, but just once in a week; EVERY SUNDAY. As the world moves forward in this coronavirus era, the proposition is being put forward by both secular and religious leaders that it is important that the world sets aside Sunday as a day of rest (lockdown) to help redeem the environment from utter deterioration. Here are some of the uncut articles that give credence to the points that are being raised in this study:

i) Soros/Gates-Funded Org ($6.5M): World May Need ‘Climate Lockdown'

Joseph Vazquez

September 25th, 2020 11:53 AM

Liberal billionaire George Soros had said the pandemic was providing a "revolutionary moment."

Now Project Syndicate (PS), a group both Soros and fellow liberal billionaire Bill Gates fund, is peddling a tyrannical proposal. Specifically, the group is pushing an eco-extremist idea that the world may need a "climate lockdown" to preempt climate change unless we have a "green economic transformation."

In a piece headlined "Avoiding a Climate Lockdown," author Mariana Mazzucato propagandized that "The world is approaching a tipping point on climate change, when protecting the future of civilization will require dramatic interventions." According to Mazzucato, "Avoiding this scenario will require a green economic transformation - and thus a radical overhaul of corporate governance, finance, policy, and energy systems." Then came the scary dystopianism: "In the near future, the world may need to resort to lockdowns again - this time to tackle a climate emergency" — and COVID-19 set the precedent. [Emphasis added.]

George Orwell is turning over violently in his grave.

Tracking PS’s funding explained the tyrannical radicalism. Three groups within Soros’s Open Society Network ($1,242,105), along with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation ($5,280,186), have given PS at least $6,522,291 between 2012-2019.

(Source: Foundation Center)

Mazzucato then broke down what she meant by what she called a "climate lockdown," and it was just as crazy as the term itself:

Under a ‘climate lockdown,’ governments would limit private-vehicle use, ban consumption of red meat, and impose extreme energy-saving measures, while fossil-fuel companies would have to stop drilling. To avoid such a scenario, we must overhaul our economic structures and do capitalism differently. [Emphasis added.]

The author also tried to exploit the virus and connect it to her sensationalizing of a climate change Armageddon: "Many think of the climate crisis as distinct from the health and economic crises caused by the pandemic. But the three crises - and their solutions - are interconnected."

For Mazzucato, "The window for launching a climate revolution - and achieving an inclusive recovery from COVID-19 in the process - is rapidly closing." She continued, selling the false, unicorn-like idea of a "green good life": "We need to move quickly if we want to transform the future of work, transit, and energy use, and make the concept of a ‘green good life,’ a reality for generations to come." [Emphasis added.]

Gates himself tried to arbitrarily pivot off of the coronavirus to fear-monger about climate change in a blog headlined, "COVID-19 is awful. Climate change could be worse." In the blog, Gates pushed radical eco-extremism: "[T]he fact that dramatically higher temperatures seem far off in the future does not make them any less of a problem—and the only way to avoid the worst possible climate outcomes is to accelerate our efforts now." He continued: " Even as the world works to stop the novel coronavirus and begin recovering from it, we also need to act now to avoid a climate disaster by building and deploying innovations that will let us eliminate our greenhouse gas emissions." [Emphasis added.]

Soros told Italian newspaper La Repubblicain an interview that he described the virus as "a revolutionary moment when the range of possibilities is much greater than in normal times," according to The Washington Times. Soros continued: "'What is inconceivable in normal times becomes not only possible but actually happens. People are disoriented and scared.'" [Emphasis added.] The Times summarized that Soros hoped "that the COVID-19 crisis has opened up politics in a radical direction." [Emphasis added.]

That "revolutionary moment" may include Soros, Gates and others using their monetary influence to fund radical groups that are exploiting the coronavirus to push the world into adopting a green utopia.

Conservatives are under attack. Contact ABC News (818-460-7477), CBS News (212-975-3247) and NBC News (212- 664-6192) and demand they report on Project Syndicate’s eco-extremist column and that Soros and Gates are funding the group.

ii) The Sabbath in an Era of Climate Change

Feb 10

Here we bring you the article from our director, Jonathan Schorsch, that originally inspired the Green Sabbath Project.

We humans face a set of dire ecological crises, the results of what many now call the Anthropocene Era, the era of human modification of earth’s planetary systems. These crises—global warming, altered weather, species extinction, the threats of various kinds of toxic pollution, the proliferation of garbage, soil erosion, desertification, declining freshwater supplies, and so on—constitute not only an absolutely real imminent threat to the future well-being of humankind, but also, it sometimes seems, a modern manifestation of the various litanies of biblical curses. The multiplicitous nature of the crises demands multiple solutions: political, economic, technological, psychological, ethical, behavioral, and even spiritual. Equally needed is a holistic understanding of how we got to this calamitous situation and how we avoid it in the future. Given their continued widespread influence, biblical religion and its offshoots offer one particularly compelling and promising solution: Shabbat, the Sabbath day of rest. A weekly ritual, both symbolic and with real-world impacts, widespread observance of Shabbat done right could reduce environmental harm by about one-seventh in much of the world and provide a platform for ongoing meditating on our environmental sins and their consequences.

Imagine if most of the world’s monotheists, those who come from traditions that profess to observe a weekly Sabbath, along with anyone else who cared to, chose for one day out of seven to essentially eliminate their own harm to the environment on a consistent basis. This could prove to be the one of the cheapest environmental solutions at humanity’s disposal. In theory, more maximal Shabbat observance could produce a 14.3% (one-seventh) reduction in carbon emissions without additional spending, new technologies, or unintended environmental consequences—one day out of seven where emissions are nearly eliminated. Observing a truly full weekly Shabbat, "doing nothing," as it were, offers an effective action that one can take now to help heal our environment. Since the heavily environmentally damaging "developed" world is made up mostly of monotheists, the impact of eliminating most emissions once weekly would be particularly important. Judaism and Christianity call the Sabbath an obligation. If we really believe that radical change in our behavior is necessary for environmental reasons—I certainly do—then don’t these reasons make Sabbath, along with all other environmental solutions, an obligation?

iv) "Fifty-two Sundays to rescue creation

by MADDY FRY

05 SEPTEMBER 2020

THE Bishop of Salisbury, the Rt Revd Nicholas Holtam, has described the Climate Sunday initiative, launched this weekend by Churches Together in Britain and Ireland, as a "brilliant resource" to help parishes reach the target of zero emissions by 2030 and campaign for more government action.

The Climate Sunday initiative was announced in June (News, 12 June) by a coalition of Churches and charities calling for more action on global warming. This Sunday, 6 September, is the first in a year in which individual churches are encouraged to choose their own Creation Sunday.

The object is for churches in Britain and Ireland to use climate-focused services to explore the link between theological and scientific reasons for looking after the environment. There is also a campaign for more action on the environment from the Government, and a challenge to congregations to commit to further action to halt climate change.

Spreading the initiative across the whole year is intended to make it accessible to every church calendar and tradition. More than 700 churches, from a range of denominations, have registered already.

The campaign will end with a national Climate Sunday event in Glasgow on 5 September 2021, to celebrate the commitments made by churches during the campaign.

Organisations involved include Christian Aid, Tearfund, CAFOD, the Salvation Army, A Rocha UK, Operation Noah, Climate Stewards, Eco-Congregation Scotland, Eco-Congregation Ireland, and Green Christian. The project has the backing of the Church of England, the Methodist Church, the Baptist Union of Great Britain, the Salvation Army, the Baptist Union of Wales, the United Reformed Church, the Church of Scotland, and the Church in Wales.

Bishop Holtam, who is the C of E’s lead bishop on the environment, said: "Although our focus has been shifted from climate change in recent months by the challenges of responding to Covid-19, the climate crisis has not gone away, and the driest May since records began is a timely reminder of this. Climate Sunday will be a brilliant resource to help Church of England parishes understand and respond to the climate crisis.

"As we work out the actions we need to take to cut our carbon emissions every year to reach net zero emissions by 2030, Climate Sunday will motivate, encourage, and inspire our churches to keep going on this journey."

The chief executive of A Rocha UK, Andy Atkins, who also chairs the coalition, said: "With the climate crisis accelerating, and the UK due to host the COP26 climate talks in November 2021 in Glasgow, we believe the time has come for all churches across the UK to pray about and act on the climate crisis, as we have done in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Our vision is to leave a lasting legacy of thousands of UK churches better equipped to address this critical issue as part of their normal discipleship and mission; and to make a very significant contribution to civil society efforts to secure adequate national and international action at the COP26 conference."

Pope Francis also commented this week on how the pandemic should lead to a renewed focus on the environment, saying: "The health crisis that humanity is currently experiencing reminds us of our fragility. We understand to what extent we are linked to one another, part of a world we share, and that mistreating it can only have serious consequences, not only environmental, but also social and human."

v) Sustainability for the Common Good

Joseph T. Mazuma, Founder and Global Chairperson, WACHO

26th October 2020

"For the sake of the common good, we must do whatever it takes to reverse the climate change emergency. Thus, we call on all governments worldwide to ban the use of red meat. Also, we want to see less private cars on the road, and the use of public transportation should be encouraged. Needless to say, all fossil-fuel companies should immediately stop drilling. In addition, we must re-create a new economic system that is environmental friendly. More importantly, we need a universal weekly day of rest that is protected by law for all nations, to give our planet and bodies a rest. And we have seven years to do all that or mankind will be extinct."

www.wacho.com

vi) Sustainability for the Common Good

Joseph T. Mazuma, Founder and Global Chairperson, WACHO

26th October 2020

"Because of the climate change emergency, we will see more floods, deadly fires, hurricanes, diseases, and earthquakes in places where we least expect. The World Action on Climate Change and Health Organization (WACHO.ORG) has an order called Zero Carbon Sunday (ZECASU.ORG). The order calls on humanity to change our lifestyle, consumption and production. Hence, the solution to the climate crisis is to declare a universal weekly day of rest, and to do so by an international legislation. After COVID-19, we realised that we are all in the same boat and connected to each other. Now, the world is on brink. The time has come and we need a great reset - a new order. Mitigating global warming requires that we lower our carbon footprint. We can do that by having a fossil free day. This common weekly day of rest will make society rest in a fast pace world and cause a 15% reduction on carbon emissions, at less cost but more time for family and friends. Consequently, our planet and our bodies will get a much-needed rest which will make ourselves healthier and happier for the common good."

ZERO CARBON SUNDAY (ZECASU). KEEP CALM AND STAY AT HOME ON SUNDAYS TO REDUCE CARBON FOOTPRINT. ZECASU.ORG a permanent order of WACHO.

Beloved, I believe you are now being convinced about the coming Sunday rest laws through the well-packaged vehicles of the coronavirus pandemic and the climate change agenda.

3) SUNDAY LAWS EVEN NOW

Besides the lockdowns, the wearing of masks and application of sanitizers, several Sunday closing laws are also being passed in the various countries of our world today to make it easy for citizens to practice the mandatory global Sunday rest laws when they finally arrive in the soon coming future. Here are a few of the newspaper headlines that talk about Sunday closing laws in these coronavirus times. You can read the full details from the websites that have been attached to the articles:

I think our body, mind and soul would thank us." Mayor Cam Guthrie @CamGuthrie, 4:46 AM · Mar 22, 2020.

Friends, even though the effects of the coronavirus pandemic is yet to leave the systems of our world, several are the voices that are calling for Sunday closing of shops and various works today. The question that begs for an answer at this point in our study is this: Why is the world not calling for the closing of work activities or rest for workers on any other day but only on Sundays? The simple answer to this question is that the coronavirus pandemic and the climate change agenda are only being utilised as vehicles to push the Sunday rest and worship agenda of the papacy. It takes a solid background understanding of the prophetic books of Daniel and Revelation for one to be able to discern the events that are happening in our world at the moment. From the pen of inspiration, we read the following in relation to the Sunday legislation issue: "The Sunday movement is now making its way in darkness. The leaders are concealing the true issue, and many who unite in the movement do not themselves see whither the undercurrent is tending. Its professions are mild and apparently Christian, but when it shall speak it will reveal the spirit of the dragon." -- (CCh 335.2) Beloved, I could go on and on and on with more evidences in relation to this topic. But I believe that the Lord is able to grant you understanding with what I have given you in this study. Today, by the grace of God, I have tried to prove to you that the passing of National Sunday Rest Laws across the globe is just on the horizon. It is clear that world leaders have utilised the coronavirus pandemic and the climate change agenda to further this end. The question I want to ask you before I bring this message to a close is this: When Sunday is finally given the legal right as a duly mandated day of rest and worship in the countries of the world, where will you stand? Will you love God enough to keep His commandments including the Seventh-day Sabbath? Or you will embrace Sunday, and thus receive the mark of the beast? The choice is in your hands. However, it is my prayer that the Lord will strengthen you so you can choose to obey Him today, instead of following the traditions and decrees of men.

Exhortation: From the context of Revelation 13:11-17, I want you to ponder over this important letter that the President-elect of the United States of America, Joe Biden has sent to the President of the Republic of Ghana, my home country:

December 2020

President Nana Akufo-Addo
Accra, Ghana

Dear President Akufo-Addo,

Thank you for your kind words and well-wishes. I am sorry that we have not yet had the opportunity to connect by phone.

It is my great honor to have been elected the next president of the United States, and I understand just how much work lies ahead of us. Vice President-elect Harris and I will take office at a time of great global challenges—from coronavirus to climate change—that transcend borders and require international cooperation. We look forward to working with you and your government on addressing the common problems facing our countries and our peoples.

Thank you again, President Akufo-Addo, I look forward to future dialogue.

Sincerely,

Signed

Joseph R. Biden, Jr.
