Itching skin is a condition when the sufferer feels the urge to scratch certain areas of the skin. Itching skin can be caused due to psychological reasons like stress and anxiety. Again dry skin conditions, sunburn or long exposure of the skin to sunrays, cancers, metabolic disorder, endocrine disorder, food, reactions to medicines, bites and stings of the insects, use of cheap skin care products, swimming or bathing in chlorinated water etc. are some of the causes of itching skin. However, there are a lot of natural ways to cure the itching skin and here are some of them:



Nettle is an herb that has been used for centuries for the treating and curing of itching, irritation and various other skin problems. It is extremely useful for the combating of various skin problems. Take some amount of nettle oil in your hands, rub it and apply it to the affected areas. This needs to be done regularly until the itching of the skin stops finally.

Salt Free Diet:

Intake meals that is free of salt. It is recommended as one of the best diet that helps to combat itching skin.

Milk:

Milk is extremely useful for itching skin condition. Bathing with the help of evaporated milk helps to deal with it effectively. If required other mixtures like baking soda, oatmeal could also be tried as these also work for the soothing of the skin.
