CHRIST-LOVE

God's [Christ] love far exceeds the love a hen has for its chick. His love is what makes Him feed the elephant without forgetting the ant. "He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous" (Matthew 5:45). God’s love is the agape—unfailing, unrelenting, unconditional, and selfless love. A love that no tongue can totally confess, a love that no pen can perfectly tell, a love that no book can fully contain.

A love that is not just erotic—far more than romance. A love that "makes 'neighbors' out of those who would otherwise be our enemies" (James Castleton). "Governments will fail, but God’s love will last. Crowns are temporary, but His love is eternal. Your money will run out, but His love never will" (Max Lucado). His love is better than life itself, and better than wine (Psalm 63:3; Song of Solomon 1:2).

Your spouse may divorce you, but God will still love you. Your parents may abandon you, but God will still love you. Your friend may betray you, but God will still love you. A stranger may ignore you, but God will still love you.

Even when you can't love yourself or you don't feel lovely, God will still love you. His love is higher than the heavens, deeper than the earth's inner core, bigger than the ocean and wider than the skies. God's love has no limits. Even in an unfallen world, God's love never fails (Lamentations 3:22-23). God loves you!
